Hurt Poetry in Urdu Hindi and English

I can only look to me to find the way it all began - this confusion, constant

When I consider how my light is spent

Ere half my days in this dark world and wide,

And that one talent which is death to hide,

Lodged with me useless, though my soul more bent

To serve therewith my Maker, and present

My true account, lest He returning chide,

'Doth God exact day labor, light denied?

I fondly ask. But Patience to prevent

That murmur soon replies, 'God doth not need

Either man's work or his own gifts. Who best

Bear his mild yoke, they serve him best. His state

Is kingly: thousands at his bidding speed,

And post o'er land and ocean without rest;

They also serve who only stand and wait.............

                                           something.....

And so it came to be

this isolation that I am

I can only look to me

to find the way it all began -

this confusion, constant

hunger for something more than this

I strive to find this being

that I envision, yet seem to miss.

Could it be that I am empty-

or maybe a little lost?

Could it be that I am lonely,

or seek happiness at any cost?

This never-ending Something

that I am living deep inside,

depicts the illusion of myself

and all I have to hide.

There is grey in your hair.

Young men no longer suddenly catch their breath

When you are passing;

But maybe some old gaffer mutters a blessing

Because it was your prayer

Recovered him upon the bed of death.

For your sole sake - that all heart's ache have known,

And given to others all heart's ache,

From meagre girlhood's putting on

Burdensome beauty - for your sole sake

Heaven has put away the stroke of her doom,

So great her portion in that peace you make

By merely walking in a room.

Your beauty can but leave among us

Vague memories, nothing but memories.

A young man when the old men are done talking

Will say to an old man, "Tell me of that lady

The poet stubborn with his passion sang us

When age might well have chilled his blood.'

Vague memories, nothing but memories,

But in the grave all, all, shall be renewed.

The certainty that I shall see that lady

Leaning or standing or walking

In the first loveliness of womanhood,

And with the fervour of my youthful eyes,

Has set me muttering like a fool.

You are more beautiful than any one,

And yet your body had a flaw:

Your small hands were not beautiful,

And I am afraid that you will run

And paddle to the wrist

In that mysterious, always brimming lake

Where those What have obeyed the holy law

paddle and are perfect. Leave unchanged

The hands that I have kissed,

For old sake's sake.

The last stroke of midnight dies.

All day in the one chair

From dream to dream and rhyme to rhyme I have

ranged

In rambling talk with an image of air:

Vague memories, nothing but memories.

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

And when her love has joined her, And they meet in heaven's bliss, Their regrets will quickly perish, As they kiss their first sweet kiss.

-- No uttered words the poet speaks,
No skies of golden hue,
No tales of unrequited love,
They were lost when I lost you.

No words to caress her lover's heart,
And gone the dreams she swore they'd live,
But alone within the poet dwells,
No uttered words... none left to give.

No music swells within her soul,
Just silence surrounds her heart,
And the solitude engulfs her world,
When the poet and love depart.

And lost the beauty she once could see,
And the glory she saw each day,
Now the poet pens her last farewell,
No more love can she convey.

But what's the poet's soul to do?
To release the love she feels,
For she'll surely die and wither,
If that love she now conceals.

she must hide the hurt and heartache,
Just smile to friends and say,
I'm fine... love doesn't matter,
And deceive them all that way.

For a different face she'll show them,
To barricade her pain,
To hide her shattered spirit,
From the love she ne'er attained.

But the pain within shall kill her,
Not soon but through the years,
For the poet knows her anguish,
When alone she sheds her tears.

And at night when dreams come calling,
With his voice, his smile... his eyes,
A single tear upon her cheek,
Hides the pain her heart belies.

For she loved his soul completely,
Was consumed by beauty's bliss,
Had shared his inner thoughts,
But never shared his kiss.

And when death comes to the poet,
And to heaven her soul ascends,
she'll smile before her beauty,
For eternity never ends.

So will the poet regret the life,
Which stole away the years,
No she'll simply recall the love,
she felt in all her tears.

And when her love has joined her,
And they meet in heaven's bliss,
Their regrets will quickly perish,
As they kiss their first sweet kiss.

And so the words will quickly flow again,
From my thoughts, to hand... to book,
I'll not write of God or Heaven,
When upon your face I look.

So the poet's again a poet,
For the words were always there,
I just didn't see much beauty,
When your love I couldn't share.

So their souls will find the love at last,
That in life they could not seek,
And the poet soon finds the words in you...
The words... she could not speak..

 Love doesn't make

the world go round,

Love is what makes

the ride worthwhile.

The greatest weakness of

most humans Is

their hesitancy to tell others,

How much they love them

While they're alive.

I have loved to

the point of madness;

That which is called madness,

That which to me,

Is the only

sensible way to love.

Memories

are the best souvenirs.

A divorce is

like an amputation;

you survive,

but there's less of you.

When suddenly it hit me

Just like lighting and thunder

I knew neither pain or happiness

My nights were cold and lonely

My days were short and weary

I was between shadows and lights

And came under the impression

That this life was the only thing given to me

You took me away from the perilous world

And turn my so called shelter into a paradise

I felt tranquility, it was something new to me

My life blossomed and everything was awesome

I remember this feeling, this emotion, which was full of devotion

Love, just extraordinary love.

They wonder through the broken streets where once he played…English poetry

How can I always lend a hand

But ignore the cries within myself

It brings me joy to bring you a smile

But my emptiness still sits up on the shelf

Inside my heart will always bleed

But I will never let it be shown on my face

Only the tear that falls down my cheek

Will give you a glimpse, a shadow, a trace

I suffocate when I try to breathe

The chains you gave won't let my body go

I have dreams, and needs, and wants

My body is numb, I think maybe you should know

I struggle with my demons each day

You feed them while you slowly watch me die

Please let me be and please set me free

I want to smile as I look up at the sky

I want the moon to brighten the night

I want the clouds to pass me on by

I want the stars to guide me to heaven

And I want wings to life me and fly..........

Usually when people are sad, they don’t do anything. They just cry over their condition. But when they get angry, they bring about a change.

Beginnings are scary. Endings are usually sad, but it’s the middle that counts the most.

Dying seems less sad than having lived too little.

However long the night, the dawn will break.

Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

For all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these, It might have been.

Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.

I had rather have a fool make me merry, than experience make me sad.

The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.

Nobody really cares if you’re miserable, so you might as well be happy.

We enjoy warmth because we have been cold. We appreciate light because we have been in darkness. By the same token, we can experience joy because we have known sadness.
A sad spectacle. If they be inhabited, what a scope for misery and folly. If they be not inhabited, what a waste of space.

It is sad to grow old but nice to ripen.

The walls we build around us to keep out the sadness also keep out the joy.

We ask God to forgive us for our evil thoughts and evil temper, but rarely, if ever ask Him to forgive us for our sadness.

 Almond eyes….
Ocean deep,….

Deserted from tenderness….

Lost in human wilderness…
Hiding half way behind the great war torn wall…
His mother…
Is not to be seen around….
His father…
Has long since been gone…
Hasn’t returned…
Since last Christmas eve…
Where’s father..?
He’s wondered …
Amidst the debris of millions of homes broken….
Of families in millions… lost and forgotten…
He wonders if he is the only one…
Or is it only him and the neighbor??
In the worn torn heart of his country….
His dream world lays shattered…
His eyes search through those men in arms…
They wonder through the broken streets where once he played…
His innocence takes its final breath….
It cannot sustain itself any longer…
Deep inside his patience is dyeing…
His faith is crying…
His hopes are dismal…
Will father ever come back??
Or is it the end now….?
For the first time in life….
He has just experienced pain…
For the first time …
His little heart seems to be breaking ….
For the first time now…
His fairytale world is drowning…
Reality stares in the face…
So blankly….it could break those bullets into half.
When he should have been searching for things far of late….
He wonders…
of life and death…
Of guns and bullets…
for the first time now…
He has just experienced loss…
“There are no fairies or miracles?. Are there mamma??
If there were… father might have returned...”
No…he says so…
yet he still believes…
He still prays…
Every day
Every morning
Every night
Underneath the plank of his little bed…
And he still gives that broken smile...
That smile that talks of hope…
Once in a while…
For long now…
he has not known the meaning of the word… ‘jihad’…
he knows now…. Even before he could read….
His father would whisper each day…
Those eternal prayers…
of life and death…
Of love and hate…
Of peace and animosity…
What was father’s fault then?
Why did he go away?
Maybe he might never know….
why father never returned….
what happened on a fateful Christmas eve…
that intriguing mystery unveiled….
He might wonder which path to tread then…
A path father rarely encouraged…
A path he never preached…
A chapter unwritten ….in the holy ‘Koran’
For reasons unheard...
Undiminished…and uninterrupted
Reasons full of hate…
reasons full of revenge…
born to avenge…
To extinguish the fire of rage…
That burnt alive the deer of life…..
That wasted away…
those flowers of childhood innocence….
That sinking heart that forgot how to dream…
And those lips that forgot…how to tremble. how to smile.
Now…
Those eyes retain their shameless charm. Their magical passions…
Betraying all good. all evil. All hate.
To embark on to the journey…
That never held any good…
For maybe

That might just be the answer…

To why father..
had never returned……….

Then I see your smiling face in my inner vision.ENGLIGH POETRY

I try, I really try to forget

How it was for us

Lying in your strong arms

My love for you filling my heart to overflowing

Almost breaking out of my chest

The feelings were so intense.

I try! I really try to tell myself

I WILL love again !

Then I see your smiling face in my inner vision

I hear the memory of your voice

The one that made my wings take flight

And my body reel with my longing

When I wake in the cold dawn, alone

Even the pillows I place where you used to lie

No longer comfort me….even half asleep!

You are gone! You are gone………

And my heart is an empty hollow

And my mind crucifies me all over again.

Never give your heart to this degree

Love by all means and with a passion!

But never put your soul completely on the line

For a mere mortal……..

Love and trust, take risks and live.

Of course do these things…

But keep a tiny bit of soul to cuddle up to

A tiny reason and part of you

Which wants to live and try again

Otherwise you will become as one

Who enters the party dressed to kill

Makes wonderful conversation

And everyone laughs alongside

Never realising your heart

Is a cold and inaccessible tomb.

IF today were the last day I had with you, ENGLISH POETRY

As you continue to send out love, the energy returns to you in a regenerating spiral... As love accumulates, it keeps your system in balance and harmony. Love is the tool, and more love is the end product.

Love is the best medicine, and there is more than enough to go around once you open your heart.

Love the heart that hurts you, but never hurt the heart that loves you.

Enthusiasm created from the heart is the spirit of the matter. It ignites your whole system so there's no drag, no resistance, no thoughts like "Do I have to?" coming from the head to sabotage the power of your surrender.
Love is not automatic. It takes conscious practice and awareness, just like playing the piano or golf. However, you have ample opportunities to practice. Everyone you meet can be your practice session.

Love isn't just for the smart of talented, but for all the amimals God created.

True love does not come by finding the perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.

Grief and tragedy and hatred are only for a time. Goodness, remembrance and love have no end.

Love is fire. But whether it's gonna warm your heart or burn your house down you can never tell.
Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.

The devotion of thought to an honest achievement makes the achievement possible. Exceptions only confirm this rule, proving that failure is occasioned by a too feeble faith.

There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread.

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart. And try to love the questions themselves.

I    IF today were the last day I had with you,

What would we say?

What would we do?

Would it be just another day with you?

I tell you I love you.

You say okay.

What do you mean?

This is my last day.

I ask to kiss you.

You say sure.

I lean over

And put my lips to yours.

The end of the night

I give you a hug

I say goodbye

You simply shrug.

I cry on my bed

And pick up the gun

I put the barrel to my head

And pull the trigger.

If today was the last day I had with you,

What would we do?
