They wonder through the broken streets where once he played…English poetry

How can I always lend a hand

But ignore the cries within myself

It brings me joy to bring you a smile

But my emptiness still sits up on the shelf

Inside my heart will always bleed

But I will never let it be shown on my face

Only the tear that falls down my cheek

Will give you a glimpse, a shadow, a trace

I suffocate when I try to breathe

The chains you gave won't let my body go

I have dreams, and needs, and wants

My body is numb, I think maybe you should know

I struggle with my demons each day

You feed them while you slowly watch me die

Please let me be and please set me free

I want to smile as I look up at the sky

I want the moon to brighten the night

I want the clouds to pass me on by

I want the stars to guide me to heaven

And I want wings to life me and fly..........

Usually when people are sad, they don’t do anything. They just cry over their condition. But when they get angry, they bring about a change.

Beginnings are scary. Endings are usually sad, but it’s the middle that counts the most.

Dying seems less sad than having lived too little.

However long the night, the dawn will break.

Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

For all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these, It might have been.

Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.

I had rather have a fool make me merry, than experience make me sad.

The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.

Nobody really cares if you’re miserable, so you might as well be happy.

We enjoy warmth because we have been cold. We appreciate light because we have been in darkness. By the same token, we can experience joy because we have known sadness.
A sad spectacle. If they be inhabited, what a scope for misery and folly. If they be not inhabited, what a waste of space.

It is sad to grow old but nice to ripen.

The walls we build around us to keep out the sadness also keep out the joy.

We ask God to forgive us for our evil thoughts and evil temper, but rarely, if ever ask Him to forgive us for our sadness.

 Almond eyes….
Ocean deep,….

Deserted from tenderness….

Lost in human wilderness…
Hiding half way behind the great war torn wall…
His mother…
Is not to be seen around….
His father…
Has long since been gone…
Hasn’t returned…
Since last Christmas eve…
Where’s father..?
He’s wondered …
Amidst the debris of millions of homes broken….
Of families in millions… lost and forgotten…
He wonders if he is the only one…
Or is it only him and the neighbor??
In the worn torn heart of his country….
His dream world lays shattered…
His eyes search through those men in arms…
They wonder through the broken streets where once he played…
His innocence takes its final breath….
It cannot sustain itself any longer…
Deep inside his patience is dyeing…
His faith is crying…
His hopes are dismal…
Will father ever come back??
Or is it the end now….?
For the first time in life….
He has just experienced pain…
For the first time …
His little heart seems to be breaking ….
For the first time now…
His fairytale world is drowning…
Reality stares in the face…
So blankly….it could break those bullets into half.
When he should have been searching for things far of late….
He wonders…
of life and death…
Of guns and bullets…
for the first time now…
He has just experienced loss…
“There are no fairies or miracles?. Are there mamma??
If there were… father might have returned...”
No…he says so…
yet he still believes…
He still prays…
Every day
Every morning
Every night
Underneath the plank of his little bed…
And he still gives that broken smile...
That smile that talks of hope…
Once in a while…
For long now…
he has not known the meaning of the word… ‘jihad’…
he knows now…. Even before he could read….
His father would whisper each day…
Those eternal prayers…
of life and death…
Of love and hate…
Of peace and animosity…
What was father’s fault then?
Why did he go away?
Maybe he might never know….
why father never returned….
what happened on a fateful Christmas eve…
that intriguing mystery unveiled….
He might wonder which path to tread then…
A path father rarely encouraged…
A path he never preached…
A chapter unwritten ….in the holy ‘Koran’
For reasons unheard...
Undiminished…and uninterrupted
Reasons full of hate…
reasons full of revenge…
born to avenge…
To extinguish the fire of rage…
That burnt alive the deer of life…..
That wasted away…
those flowers of childhood innocence….
That sinking heart that forgot how to dream…
And those lips that forgot…how to tremble. how to smile.
Those eyes retain their shameless charm. Their magical passions…
Betraying all good. all evil. All hate.
To embark on to the journey…
That never held any good…
For maybe

That might just be the answer…

To why father..
had never returned……….

Then I see your smiling face in my inner vision.ENGLIGH POETRY

I try, I really try to forget

How it was for us

Lying in your strong arms

My love for you filling my heart to overflowing

Almost breaking out of my chest

The feelings were so intense.

I try! I really try to tell myself

I WILL love again !

Then I see your smiling face in my inner vision

I hear the memory of your voice

The one that made my wings take flight

And my body reel with my longing

When I wake in the cold dawn, alone

Even the pillows I place where you used to lie

No longer comfort me….even half asleep!

You are gone! You are gone………

And my heart is an empty hollow

And my mind crucifies me all over again.

Never give your heart to this degree

Love by all means and with a passion!

But never put your soul completely on the line

For a mere mortal……..

Love and trust, take risks and live.

Of course do these things…

But keep a tiny bit of soul to cuddle up to

A tiny reason and part of you

Which wants to live and try again

Otherwise you will become as one

Who enters the party dressed to kill

Makes wonderful conversation

And everyone laughs alongside

Never realising your heart

Is a cold and inaccessible tomb.
  • Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay awhile, make footprints on our hearts and we are never, ever the same.
  • This day I will marry my friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love
  • Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow; Don't walk behind me, I may not lead; Walk beside me, and just be my friend.
  • Two lives, two hearts joined together in friendship united forever in love
  • A mere friend will agree with you, but a real friend will argue.
  • A friend is someone, who upon seeing another friend in immense pain, would rather be the one experiencing the pain than to have to watch their friend suffer.
  • Your worst enemy could be your best friend, and your best friend your worst enemy.
  • Never shall I forget the times I spent with you; continue to be my friend, as you will always find me yours.
  • May the sun always shine on your windowpane; May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain; May the hand of a friend always be near you; May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
  • A friend is one to whom one can pour out all the contents of one's heart, chaff and grain together, knowing that the gentlest of hands will take and sift it, keeping what is worth keeping, and, with the breath of kindness, blow the rest away.
  • A friend is someone who sees through you and still enjoys the view.
  • As the rest of the world is walking out the door, your best friend's are the ones walking in.
  • Do not use a hatchet to remove a fly from your friend's forehead
  • Be slow in choosing a friend, but slower in changing him.
  • Without friends no one would choose to live.
  • The road to a friend's house is never long
  • To attract good fortune, spend a new coin on an old friend, share an old pleasure with a new friend, and lift up the heart of a true friend by writing his name on the wings of a dragon.
  • To the query, ''What is a friend?'' his reply was ''A single soul dwelling in two bodies.''
  • Choose your friends carefully. Your enemies will choose you.
  • Tell me who's your friend and I'll tell you who you are.
  • Choose in marriage only a woman whom you would choose as a friend if she were a man.
  • The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
  • A faithful friend is the medicine of life.
  • I need not fear my enemies because the most they can do is attack me. I need not fear my friends because the most they can do is betray me. But I have much to fear from people who are indifferent.
  • A friend is a present you give to yourself.
  • He whose hand is clasped in friendship cannot throw mud.
  • Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art... It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival.
  • Friendship is the source of the greatest pleasures, and without friends even the most agreeable pursuits become tedious.
  • I desire so to conduct the affairs of this administration that if at the end, when I come to lay down the reins of power, I have lost every other friend on earth, I shall at least have one friend left, and that friend shall be down inside me.
  • One who's our friend is fond of us; one who's fond of us isn't necessarily our friend.
  • The road to a friend's house is never long.
  • Between friends differences in taste or opinion are irritating in direct proportion to their triviality.
  • The trebling of the population in this small and impoverished country, flowing with milk and honey but not with sufficient water, rich in rocks and sand dunes but poor in natural resources and vital raw materials, has been no easy task: Indeed, practical men, with their eyes fixed upon things as they are, regarded it as an empty and insubstantial utopian dream.
  • He who has not the weakness of friendship has not the strength.
  • It is in the thirties that we want friends. In the forties we know they won't save us any more than love did.
  • To be capable of steady friendship or lasting love, are the two greatest proofs, not only of goodness of heart, but of strength of mind.
  • Your enemy is never a villain in his own eyes. Keep this in mind, it may offer a way to make him your friend. If not, you can kill him without hate--and quickly.
  • Friendship is a sheltering tree.
  • The worst solitude is to be destitute of sincere friendship.
  • There is an important difference between love and friendship. While the former delights in extremes and opposites, the latter demands equality.
  • Love Him, and keep Him for thy Friend, who, when all go away, will not forsake thee, nor suffer thee to perish at the last.
  • Friends, both the imaginary ones you build for yourself out of phrases taken from a living writer, or real ones from college, and relatives, despite all the waste of ceremony and fakery and the fact that out of an hour of conversation you may have only five minutes in which the old entente reappears, are the only real means for foreign ideas to enter your brain.
  • A man must eat a peck of salt with his friend, before he knows him
  • For believe me, in this world which is ever slipping from under our feet, it is the prerogative of friendship to grow old with one's friends.
  • I get by with a little help from my friends.
  • At the shrine of friendship never say die, let the wine of friendship never run dry - Les Miserables
  • These can never be true friends: Hope, dice, a prostitute, a robber, a cheat, a goldsmith, a monkey, a doctor, a distiller.

IF today were the last day I had with you, ENGLISH POETRY

As you continue to send out love, the energy returns to you in a regenerating spiral... As love accumulates, it keeps your system in balance and harmony. Love is the tool, and more love is the end product.

Love is the best medicine, and there is more than enough to go around once you open your heart.

Love the heart that hurts you, but never hurt the heart that loves you.

Enthusiasm created from the heart is the spirit of the matter. It ignites your whole system so there's no drag, no resistance, no thoughts like "Do I have to?" coming from the head to sabotage the power of your surrender.
Love is not automatic. It takes conscious practice and awareness, just like playing the piano or golf. However, you have ample opportunities to practice. Everyone you meet can be your practice session.

Love isn't just for the smart of talented, but for all the amimals God created.

True love does not come by finding the perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.

Grief and tragedy and hatred are only for a time. Goodness, remembrance and love have no end.

Love is fire. But whether it's gonna warm your heart or burn your house down you can never tell.
Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.

The devotion of thought to an honest achievement makes the achievement possible. Exceptions only confirm this rule, proving that failure is occasioned by a too feeble faith.

There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread.

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart. And try to love the questions themselves.

I    IF today were the last day I had with you,

What would we say?

What would we do?

Would it be just another day with you?

I tell you I love you.

You say okay.

What do you mean?

This is my last day.

I ask to kiss you.

You say sure.

I lean over

And put my lips to yours.

The end of the night

I give you a hug

I say goodbye

You simply shrug.

I cry on my bed

And pick up the gun

I put the barrel to my head

And pull the trigger.

If today was the last day I had with you,

What would we say?

What would we do?
Would it be just another day with you?

You left me alone So I sit here and cry I'm alone with my knife ENGLISH POETRY

You left me alone

So I sit here and cry

I'm alone with my knife

Soon I shall die

You told me you loved me

I thought it was true

I saw you with that girl

She was all over you

I stood staring

Your eyes met mine

You started running

But I had already died

I ran home

With tears in my eyes

I knew what i would do

No matter how many tries

I locked the door

And sat on my bed

No one can stop me

No matter how many tears shed

I take my knife

And slit my wrists

I feel the blood draining

This is my last gift

You break down the door

And enter my room

You sit next to me

You don't know of my doom

You don't know what happened

Let me explain

I only nod

I feel a bit faint

I was going home

She needed a ride

I stopped at the Sonic

My throat was so dry

Next thing I knew

She had me in back

Then yo walked up

I wanted you back

It's too late

I simply say

I show you my wrists

You can only gaze

You grab a few tissues

And press them on the wounds

You hold me tight

I feel my life sliping

The last thing I know

The last thing I say

Goodbye my love

Then all fades away

I'm in a bright place

The street glitters gold

I begin to walk forward

Until you grab a hold

I turn around

To see your face

You're smiling at me

You're in this place?

What do you think?

You ask grinning

Without you

My life's not worth living

You wrap your arms around me

And give me a kiss

We walk hand in hand

Into eternal bliss

It was a bad life

With the perfect death

My love is here with me

This is true happiness........................

I do not believe in fate that falls on men however they act;
but I do believe in fate that falls on them unless they act.
♥ ♥ ♥  Fate leads the willing, and drags along the reluctant.
♥ ♥ ♥  Most people live and die with their music still unplayed.
They never dare to try ♥ ♥ ♥
If you can’t change your fate,
change your attitude. ♥ ♥ ♥
Fate is not quite as strange as it appears
♥ ♥ ♥ What a man thinks of himself,
that it is which determines, or rather indicates, his fate.♥ ♥ ♥
 Man’s character is his fate. ♥ ♥ ♥
Every individual has a place to fill in the world, and is important,
in some respect, whether he chooses to be so or not

♥ ♥ ♥ Chance is a word void of sense; nothing can exist without a cause.

♥ ♥ ♥Fate – everything happens for a reason. And when fate happens look for the good in it as it is there.

♥ ♥ ♥ Everything comes gradually at its appointed hour.
♥ ♥ ♥ Fortune never crushed that man whom good fortune deceived not.

♥ ♥ ♥ Do not worry about the future for it is not yet come. Live each day in the present and make it beautiful.

♥ ♥ ♥ Fate is for those too weak to determine their own destiny.

♥ ♥ ♥ Throw a lucky man into the sea, and he will come up with a fish in his mouth.

♥ ♥ ♥A true adventurer goes forth aimless and uncalculating to meet and greet unknown fate

♥ ♥ ♥ Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart.

♥ ♥ ♥ The fate of a nation has often depended upon the good or bad digestion of a prime minister.

♥ ♥ ♥ Every man has his own destiny: the only imperative is to follow it, to accept it, no matter where it leads him.
♥ ♥ ♥ Destiny has two ways of crushing us…. by refusing our wishes and by fulfilling them.

♥ ♥ ♥ Each man is the architect of his own fate.

♥ ♥ ♥ Men are not prisoners of fate, but only prisoners of their own minds.

♥ ♥ ♥ It is a fundamental error to try to subject our own fate at call costs to our will. Our will is a function regulated by reflection; hence it is dependent on the quality of that reflection.

♥ ♥ ♥ When fate hands us a lemon, let’s try to make a lemonade.

♥ ♥ ♥ He cannot complain of a hard sentence, who is made master of his own fate.

♥ ♥ ♥ Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.
♥ ♥ ♥ Now is the dramatic moment of fate, Watson, when you hear a step upon the stair which is walking into your life, and you know not whether for good or ill.

♥ ♥ ♥ Things and actions are what they are, and the consequences of them will be what they will be; why then should we desire to be deceived ?

♥ ♥ ♥ There is no chance, no destiny, no fate, that can hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul.

♥ ♥ ♥ The man of the past is alive in us today to a degree undreamt of before the war, and in the last analysis what is the fate of great nations but a summation of the psychic changes in individuals ?

♥ ♥ ♥ Fate is not an eagle, it creeps like a rat.

♥ ♥ ♥ I do not know beneath what sky nor on what seas shall be thy fate; I only know it shall be high, I only know it shall be great.

♥ ♥ ♥ The future was with Fate. The present was our own.

♥ ♥ ♥ Resolved to take fate by the throat and shake a living out of her.

If you loved someone, you couldn’t let lies come between you.ENGLISH POETRY

            Wherever your heart is,

that is where you'll find your treasure.

One is loved because one is loved.
No reason is needed for loving.

       You're in love.
That makes you actually kind of boring to people who aren't in love.
If you loved someone, you couldn’t let lies come between you.
No matter what happened - even if you’d already lost each other forever - you owed each other the truth.

You are my life. You're the only thing it would hurt to lose.

I promise to love you forever - every single day of forever.

After all, what was more important, in the end, than love?????

What was the point of having unending life if that life was without love?
There's no good story without romance.
If I could dream at all it would be about you. And I'm not ashamed of it.
Where we love is home, home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.

Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me,

Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee...

Sounds of the rude world heard in the day,

Lull'd by the moonlight have all pass'd away!

Beautiful dreamer, queen of my song,

List while I woo thee with soft melody;

Gone are the cares of life's busy throng.

Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!

Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!

Beautiful dreamer, out on the sea...

Mermaids are chaunting the wild lorelie...

Over the streamlet vapors are borne...

Waiting to fade at the bright coming morn.

Beautiful dreamer, beam on my heart,

E'en as the morn on the streamlet and sea....

Then will all clouds of sorrow depart...

The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.

Anything will give up its secrets if you love it enough. Not only have I found that when I talk to the little flower or to the little peanut they will give up their secrets, but I have found that when I silently commune with people they give up their secrets also - if you love them enough.

We are shaped and fashioned by what we love.
I've never been for the word love

As silly as it may seem

Too many people just say it

But not knowing what it means

And even though I am in love

It's something I'll never show

I'll never stop to say that words

So I'll guess you'll never know

I've never been for promises

They make people look like fools

No one ever means to keep them

They'll be broken just like rules

And even though I am sincere

And feel it's something I owe

I can't say I'll be there for you

So I'll guess you'll never know

I've never been for love symbols

Those really stupid tokens

People give them out like presents

Then leave your heart all broken

And even though I want to kiss

You under the mistletoe

I don't feel its right to do that

So I'll guess you never know

I've never been for anyone

Cause there's no one just like you

How can I tell you how I feel

When this world made love untrue

And even though I feel for you

I'll let my emotions go

I don't think these words mean enough

So I'll guess you'll never know

I've never been for sad goodbyes

Cause I don't know what I'll lose

I've never left a friend behind

It is something I will refuse

And even though I really want you

Away my love, I will throw

I can't say what you want to hear

So I'll guess you'll never know

Life is the flower for which love is the honey.

It is better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for what you are not.

Love makes the time pass. Time makes love pass.

We always deceive ourselves twice about the people we love - first to their advantage, then to their disadvantage.
